The 2003 harvest marks the inauguration of the Alcesti winery, which is located in Marsala in contrada Terrenove, on the southern side of the city.

The winery was designed with the expertise of highly specialized engineers and oenologists to make it effective, efficient, and modern at the same time.

Equipped with modern tools and cutting-edge machinery, Alcesti thus preserves the primary objectives of the agricultural company, such as the care and quality of its products, which have always been the result of meticulous processes.

The winery covers a total area of 8,000 square meters, distributed among offices, reception areas, and spaces for the storage and processing of wines, with a total capacity of 8,500 hectoliters. It also includes facilities for bottling and a barrel room with a capacity of 400 hectoliters, where the finest selections are aged and refined in French oak barriques and tonneaux.

The grape pressing lines are two distinct ones: one for whites and one for reds. Vinification takes place in purity in stainless steel tanks for temperature-controlled fermentation.
This temperature control is a very important factor
that allows us to preserve the quality of our wines.

The ultra-modern bottling line is located in a dedicated room within the facility, with a total capacity of 2,500 bottles per hour. The wines are then stored in a well-protected area, shielded from external agents and, above all, well-ventilated.
