Acasto – Frappato

Terre Siciliane – Typical Geographical Indication

It is one of the oldest grape varieties found in Sicily.

Cultivated in the hilly area of Agrigento, it expresses great pleasantness and gustatory-olfactory harmony. The grapes are hand-harvested into small crates, then destemmed and macerated at a controlled temperature between 24 and 27°C. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks for approximately 6 months, followed by an additional month of bottle aging before release to the market.
